"What more can I say?"

The entire squad is on the court and the clock has just gone into overtime as the coach pulls out his clipboard for that "MOMENT OF CLARITY!"

"It's a hard knock life" 4 Queen's sitting on the sideline awaiting her King's return. You know from the very first time his eye caught yours that his heart was filled with the streets so either you're with that impending bid, or you better blaze your path! But in this case this love is sincerely suave and it's conclusive that it's way too late to let go!

Every single visit you're there, you don't miss a single call, and at mail call you blow his name up so everybody knows Wifey is still on the scene and taking care of her J-O-B! Cause you know that a life without his love is not a life you want to live. UNTIL someone sees that you're lonely, he says the right words that "ALLURE" you. We're human right? I mean I make enough cash to keep his ass off the streets so he elected to do that time not me! But it's not making love if your heart isn't in it! I was weak, I fell; but then he's back for an "ENCORE" performance! Dude on the side is getting wild, saying he's in love, telling you to leave your man. Is he crazy? Lemme "JUSTIFY MY THUG" 4 U! Dude this is just meaningless sex. What my King and I share is 100% L-O-V-E!

As Sincere and Suave do their separate but equal bids we find that "No Exit" opened doors and people were given major 2nd chances. The "Block Party" didn't end but it drastically changed. And after all these years I'm still "Sincerely Yours!"

Al-Saadiq uniquely breathes life into what a reality street life is. I told people that you didn't have to read in any specific order, but as usual Al-Saadiq has stepped up his game so you must start with No Exit, Block Party, and then Sincerely Yours.

Excellent Finale

Once again I must come back on here and give Mr. Banks his acknowledgements on another great story. Sincerely Yours is such a good story I am at a lost of words to describe it. If you are a true fan and have read the first two you will really appreciate the story Mr. Banks is giving us. He brought in new characters with a completely different story line.

Suave and Sincere relationship is one many people wish for. A man who doesn't cheat or hasn't the whole 10 years now that in itself was great. LOL no really their story was just so good and well put together. The addition of the old characters and their conclusions in this one was a great surprise. If you have not read any of his books honestly you will love all 3 you have to start with NO EXIT in order to appreciate the rest of them. Continued success and much love to Mr. Banks and his family.

I had the pleasure of talking to Mr. Banks personally not once did he mention the conclusion to my favorite two street stories. The only thing left to say is THIS IS A MUST READ!

About the Author
Konami Kanata (pen name used by Kanata Konami) was born on July 3, 1958, in Nagano, Japan.� A veteran manga artist Konami made her professional debut in 1982 with the serialized comic Petit Cat Jam-Jam for Kodansha's semenal shoujo manga magazine NakaYoshi. The daughter of an elementary school teacher, most of Konami's stories are for readers of all ages making her one of the most accessible artists in recent history.

In her nearly thirty year career, Konami has penned more than a dozen comic series, with the majority of them focusing on cats and pets. Konami is well regarded within the pet-manga community for her keen sense of cat ecology. Her ability to observe and render feline behavior has earned her respect from the Japanese manga community as a whole. While most of her properties were published for a younger female demographic, her most recent series Chi's Sweet Home is currently being published by Kodansha's Morning magazine, Japan's leading comic magazine for adult readers. A incredibly well done and emotional conclusion to the Chi's Sweet Home series!

This was an excellent conclusion to the Chi’s Sweet Home series. My whole family has loved reading this very cute seinen manga featuring a young family with an inquisitive cat.

Chi has finally realized that the grey striped cat is her mom. This happens right around the same time her human family realizes that missing cat posters are looking for Chi. The family is torn; should they bring Chi back to her original home? Or do they keep her with them? They are relocating to France and need to decide before they make the move. Yohei, their toddler, is dead set against losing his best friend. In the end the only one who can make the decision is Chi herself.

This was a surprisingly tense and emotional Chi’s Sweet Home. Chi has to make a tough choice: live with her siblings and mom or live with the human family she loves. Chi is just as cute as ever, but there definitely isn’t a lot of humor in here.

Normally I say that this manga is for all ages; but there are a couple scenes in here that might be a little intense for very young readers. There is a scene where Chi’s kitty mom protects Chi and is injured which had my eight year old very concerned. Then at the end Chi is racing against time to get where she wants to be; this scene again had my son very upset because he was very concerned Chi wouldn’t make it home in time. These scenes are both intense and very sweet. To be honest everyone in the family was a bit emotional over the outcome; we have just grown to love this family and little cat so much.

As with all the other volumes this one is well illustrated and has beautiful pastel colors and incredibly cute kitties. We really enjoyed the illustration. This volume does wrap up the Chi’s Sweet Home series very nicely. Although to be honest we were all a bit disappointed and sad to see it end.

The only thing that wasn’t wrapped up was some of the side character plots. All of us wanted to know; what about Cocchi? Will he be alone forever?

Overall a spectacular wrap up to the Chi’s Sweet Home series; really really well done. This is an excellent seinen manga that cat lovers of all ages will enjoy. I highly recommended it. Now can we please see a spin-off series where Cocchi gets some resolution too? Pretty Please?

An emotional and satisfying conclusion

As someone who's been reading this since the series started in the U.S., it's sad to see it come to an end, but at least this is a satisfying and emotional conclusion to what has been a wonderful and warm series.

In this final volume, Chi finds herself caught between two worlds, as she must choose between her human family (the Yamadas), and her birth mother and siblings. The Yamadas are about to move to Paris, and they must also decide what is best for the little kitten that has become a part of their family. This is somewhat of a more dramatic volume than previous, as there are no kitty hijinks to be found here. It's focused solely on the characters, and the decisions that they have to make that will effect their lives forever.

Konami Kanata has shown a real gift for blending humor with emotion during the course of the comic, and that's no more evident than here. We feel for these characters, and we sympathize, because there are no right and wrong answers. No matter what is decided for Chi's future, someone will be hurt. But don't worry. It all ends happily in the end, and we even get a nice little special epilogue that shows where the characters ended up.

As a long-time cat owner, this has been a wonderful find, and I have enjoyed following the adventures of Chi and her friends. It not only understands the nature of cats, but has more human emotion than you might expect.

I didn't realize that this was the final volume of Chi's Sweet Home! I'm sad that this amazing series is over but it has been a fun adventure and journey for us (the readers), Chi, and the Yamada family. The art is amazing as always! :) I love that this comic is in colour! I haven't seen many comics that are printed in colour! I love the water colours used in this story! I hope others enjoy this comic too! :)

Manned launches in the near future will be geared to orbital missions rather than planetary excursions, and unmanned deep-space missions will not demand the very high thrust boosters characteristic of the Apollo program. As the space program moves into the future, it also appears that the funding for elaborate “big booster” missions will not be forthcoming for NASA. The Saturn V class of launch vehicles are the end of the line of the Saturn generation. It is not likely that anything like them will ever be built again. Because of the commanding drama of the awesome Saturn V, it is easy to forget the first Saturns, the Saturn I and Saturn IB. This history is an attempt to give due credit to these pioneering vehicles, to analyze the somewhat awkward origins of the Saturn I as a test bed for static testing only, not as an operational vehicle, and to discuss the uprated Saturn IB as an interim booster for the orbital testing of the first Apollo capsules. This book is a technological history. To many contemporaries the narrative may read too much like a technical manual, but the author’s concern is for posterity, when the technical manuals may be lost or dispersed and knowledgeable participants have passed on. The narrative approach was largely predicated on questions that might well be asked by future generations: How were the Saturns made? How did they work?

A Superb Book by a Superb Aerospace Historian

This thorough and well-written book gives a detailed but highly readable account of the enormously complex process whereby the Marshall Space Flight Center under the direction of Wernher von Braun developed the launch vehicles used in the Apollo program to send humans to the Moon. Based on exhaustive research and equipped with extensive bibliographic references, this book comes as close to being a definitive history of the Saturn rocket program as is ever likely to appear. Moreover, it is not simply a technical history but covers the decision-making process that lay behind the technological development, making it not just a history of hardware development but also an analysis of technical management and organization. As one reviewer said in "Air University Review" while reviewing the original edition of this book: "This volume is just one of many excellent histories produced by government and contract historians for the NASA History Office....The book is enhanced by many excellent appendixes and charts, and it has a thorough essay on sources and documentation....Author Roger Bilstein...gracefully wends his way through a maze of technical documentation to reveal the important themes of his story; rarely has such a nuts-and-bolts tale been so gracefully told." I can only add my "amen" to that assessment.

The Complete Story Of The Saturn Family

This book is the most complete history of the Saturn launch vehicle family available. Author Roger Bilstein wrote this as an official history for NASA in the late 1970s, and it was originally published in 1980. This edition is paperbound and is published by the University Press of Florida. I was tempted to give the book five stars, but ultimately two things lowered it to four. First, the illustrations are quite poor. All are black and white and most are public domain images that are of low quality. Many are taken from much larger sources and compressed so that the legends and details are virtually or completely impossible to discern. There are many better illustrations available, and there is no reason that a modern reprint of this book should have such inferior illustrations, especially when such complex (and difficult to visualize) machinery is being discussed. The second and more minor reason for the loss of a star is due to the extremely annoying use of metric units (newtons, etc.) throughout the book, which was a misdirected Carter administration whim in vogue when this was written. The problem is not with the units themselves, but rather that all the original units the program worked with were English, and after conversion the numbers are extremely cumbersome to digest and work with: as an example I opened the text randomly to page 119 (which deals with F-1 thrust chamber and furnace brazing,) and found this example, which is typical, but not the worst: "the F-1 was designed to burn its propellants at approximately 79000 newtons per square centimeter (1150 pounds per square inch) at the injector face...." Given that virtually all other sources (and all original sources) cite English units, this is a needless complication that should have been revised.

Having noted the negatives, this book has a lot of positives: it has extremely detailed history on all the Saturn program iterations, including the often neglected Saturn 1 and 1B models. It also discusses proposed but unflown Saturn derivatives, and of course the mighty Saturn V. The book presents a background on previous programs and key personnel and developmental and design choices and rationale; the discussion of the pros and cons of cryogenic propellants in various applications is especially well written. Following this the different models of Saturn vehicle are detailed to include all stages, engines, systems, and Instrument Units (which were fairly similar throughout the program.)

There is enormous effort expended to detail the histories of the various stages and the individual histories of the individual rocket engines built. Several missions are examined in great detail, most notably AS-506, which was, of course, Apollo 11. After the discussion of the technical details of the Saturns, Bilstein presents an excellent examination of the logistics of Apollo and the management techniques used to oversee the design, construction, checkout, and launch of the vehicles. The book concludes with a treasure trove of appendices full of technical and other data, which serious space historians will find of enormous assistance.

This is overall a great book, and I recommend it highly to anyone serious about space history. It is not casual reading for most people, but is extremely well detailed, and were it not for the illustration issues (and metric units, to a lesser extent) this book would easily have been awarded five stars.

Textbook account of the buiding & operation of the Saturn...

Being the avid manned spaceflight reader that I am, this book was a gold-mine. The history of not only the Saturn V is covered here, but also the earlier (less powerful) Saturn I and IB as well as the early proposals for other Saturn launch vehicles. Then, if that's not enough, you get stage-by-stage and engine-by-engine technical explanations along with each components' history. Marvelous! I've only been able to find this book at libraries, (unless you want to spend hundred[s] of dollars for collectable editions online) but, if you're an Apollo program or Saturn V afficienado, it's worth looking for. Highly recommended!

A True Classic

For most of the past four decades, Paul Huson's seminal work "Mastering Witchcraft" has remained in print. That alone should be a testament to its worth on the subject of witchcraft. An early reviewer in the 1970s called it a "genuine vade mecum" (do it yourself guide). The reviewer? Catholic Weekly.

From the opening pages to the resources and bibliography, this book contains much to set your mind thinking and your magic brewing.

Yes, parts of it are dated somewhat (the recitation of "the Lord's Prayer" backwards as a breaking ceremony has fallen much out of use to my knowledge, but back then it was fairly common) and the book is very much Not Politically Correct, which is just fine with me!

It is my firm belief that without this book, it is unlikely that we would have other fine texts such as those by Mike Howard, Nigel Jackson, and others who write on the subject of traditionalist witchcraft.

A Classic Exposition of Mediaeval Sorcery

Paul Huson, artist, actor, novelist, screenwriter and authority on Tarot and Mediaeval Magic originally wrote this book in 1969 and it has since established itself as a highly-regarded 'classic' in the field: it is not difficult to see why.

Firstly it is an exposition of Witchcraft in the purely pre-modern sense of that word, as a Craft (Anglo-Saxon 'Craeft' -'Power, Skill, Force') and he comprehensively expounds the technical knowledge and applied methods by which this innate 'Power' can be methodically tapped and projected by the Witch or Warlock for various pragmatic ends. In other words the term Witchcraft here is used in the same archaic sense as one would find it used in say the 17th century astrological works of William Lilly or William Ramesey when they say that the 12th House of the Chart is the 'House of Witchcraft' - they were not referring to a wiccan-style cult or alternative religion but quite simply meant the exercise of magical power to 'bewitch'. It is in this original and authentic sense that Paul Huson's book is a genuine manual of 'Witchcraft', putting aside the modern meanings which have become attached to that word.

The author presents an immensely skilful synthesis of magical lore and techniques from the traditional Magic of the Middle Ages and imparts a very workable body of spells, invocations, astrological herblore, incenses, philtres and image-magic: he draws upon and weaves together elements from the Solomonic cycle of grimoires, the teachings of Cornelius Agrippa, the 'enlinking' techniques using archetypal images used by Giordano Bruno, the use of Cabalistic kamea in arithmantic invocations etc. For example the invocation to Saturn in the chapter on binding magic is actually a translation/adaptation of the 'Magical Oration to Saturn' from the mediaeval Moorish text the Picatrix(Ghayat-al-Hakim). He blends these learned Hermetic-Cabalistic-Astrological esoteric currents with the rural myhthos of country folk-magic in old England. This is acheived in a way which is both authentic and effective. Indeed Traditional Magic is not subject to contemporary notions of 'progress' or 'improvement': the 'Invincible Magical Discipline' as Agrippa terms it, is timeless, always characterised by a tenacious conservatism and adherence to paradigmatic forms and Paul Huson's book accordingly delivers magical lore which is substantially pre-modern and traditional in flavour.

Yet another minor strain discernable in this book is that of Hoodoo, as seen in the use of certain substances found usually in 'Rootworking' and the creation of sachets which are themselves basically the Mojo Hands or Pacquet Kongo used in Vodoun, derived from the Nkisi of Kongo Magic. Such is the author's consummate skill these cultural elements are harmoniously blended into the brew in a very effective manner.

Furthermore the author's 'voice' throughout is very enjoyable to follow and the book is a great read, lively and expressed throughout with intelligence, stylistic panache and humour.It contains many fine illustrations in an atmospheric woodcut-like style which add a great deal to the text.

In many ways this book was several decades ahead of it's time - it prefigured the contemporary return to authentic mediaeval and renaissance magical lore and technique and provides the reader with a great deal of stimulating and potent material to engage practically. Here is revealed in full detail the true Way of the Warlock for those intrepid souls who would dare penetrate the twilit demesne of mediaeval sorcery and attain to Nigromantic mastery of the Black Art. This essential book contains a wealth of material which will be invaluable to the magical practitioner at any stage of development and is greatly to be recommended.

THE BEST WITCHCRAFT BOOK - EVER!! HANDS DOWN!!

I see a lot of debate here about "Mastering Witchcraft". That alone is good, because the more homogenized I see Wicca get, the farther I distance myself from it. I own a metaphysical store and give tarot readings for a living. I've been a high priest for over 20 years. This was the first book on witchcraft I ever read, and nothing since even compares to it. Yes, there are flaws - and you have to consider the time in which it was written. The late 60's. People did not have to be politically correct then, and they weren't. Paul Huson took the best information he had, and in step with his times, he presented it in a better way than anyone has since. It is a little arrogant sometimes. He doesn't back away from the dark side of magick or pretend it doesn't exist like a lot of Wiccan writers that followed him. Huson is not writing about Wicca, he is writing about practicing a craft that may or may not be attached to a religion, a crede, or a system of morals. I am not a child. I don't need my magickal instruction sugar-coated. His version of the symbology is used by almost every witch and Wiccan to this day, even thse who decry his "amorality". Huson has done a lot since. "Mastering Herbalism" is one of the best herbals out there - and he has a book on ESP, two books on the Tarot, and a good horror novel from 1979. As far as I know he's still alive. In the years following his books, he did a lot of producing and writing for television. "Family" with Kristy McNichol, et. al, and "James at 15" in the late 70's, "The Colby's" in the 80's (a spin off of "Dynasty"). The man is quite prolific and diverse in his talents...I am glad that someone put together what he did, when he did it because there's nothing like it now. He has compiled more solid, and yes - amoral - information in 256 pages than most people can do in a thousand.
Every practitioner of magick should have this book in a treasured place on their shelf. Learn from it, take what you like, reject what you don't, and enjoy the read and the concise reference.
